| I have been repairing rock chipped windshields since early 1978. We at Glass Savers / Glass Repair Specialists were using the old screw injector method, similar to the other tools on the market today. When introduced to the Glazex tool in 1987 I was sold immediately. But being from the old school of "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it" I was a little apprehensive. So we asked our repair techs to give the tool a try and give us feedback. Well, one by one the old screw assembly injector tools were tossed on the shelf and never used again. This tool has such great advantages over any of the other tools I’ve tried. And since 1978, I think I’ve seen every method out there. You can easily view, probe, and flex the entire damage while working on it. The power piston injection method far outweighs the old screw injector. I compare the two to a carbureted fuel system and an EFI fuel system. Although they both work, the EFI is far more efficient and trouble free than the carburetor. The Glazex tool is the easiest and most trouble free system I have found. |

I wanted to write and let you know how pleased I am with my purchase of your Glazex windshield repair equipment.
I have been doing windshield repair for several years and have tried almost all of the different
repair equipment on the market. I consider myself a perfectionist and sometimes I had to work a
long time on a repair before I could walk away and know it was my best work. Some of the repairs I’d seen by other companies looked as though they hadn’t even been repaired. I didn’t
want to be in this business if that was the kind of work I could expect to do.
I’ve met a lot of great people that are making and selling windshield repair equipment, and I have
to say that I’ve found most of the equipment I’ve bought to be of very good quality. However, I
still kept looking for something that would be simpler and easier to use, something that would speed up the time I was taking to get a good windshield repair. There would always be something about each type of equipment that I didn’t like, things that I felt slowed down my repairs or just made it clumsy or awkward to use them.
Being a windshield person yourself, you created and perfected a piece of equipment that addressed all of the issues I’d had with other equipment I’ve used. Some of the big differences I found when I switched to the Glazex were:
* Its quick and easy to set up on the glass. The time it took me with some of my other equipment to just set up, level, and fill my injector, I could almost have a repair done with the Glazex.
* It has super suction on the windshield. I couldn’t believe how well it held to the glass. This is
a plus when applying pressure, it eliminates the injector pushing up off the glass-a real problem
with all of the other equipment I’ve used.
* I love the rectangular base and how it holds with just a flip of the lever. But on the other hand, I can easily slide the injector away for the damage to inspect my repair, which really makes a difference in getting a good finished repair.
* The hole in the seal is larger. Its so much easier to see and be able to position the injector over the pit with the larger hole in the seal. I’ve never had an injector from any of other company that was as large as this one.
* There is awesome pressure! My toughest breaks fill almost immediately when pressure is applied. Its really incredible!
* You always provide excellent customer service. I had a lot of questions before I bought the equipment and always got my questions answered quickly and thoroughly. Even after I bought the equipment I received the same great customer service and answers to any questions I may have had.
* You gave me some great repair tips! I’d never tried your technique for evacuating air from the break, or even read of any other company recommending this method. All I can say is that it works fantastic and speeds up my repair time tremendously.
Thank you so much for developing equipment that is so quick and easy to use. I would highly recommend the Glazex to the experienced windshield technician as well as those just starting out in the business. |
